Newt Gingrich’s response to proposition 8 being ruled unconstitutional.
Does he understand how checks and balances work?
One of the most fundamental aspects of a democracy is an independent judiciary. There are a lot of problems with our justice system but the fact that it’s independent is not one of them. Newt doesn’t want nor does he care about democracy and that’s been evident since day one of this guy.
Apparently, to run for President, all you have to do is talk about how government is the worst thing ever. And say it as loud as you can, so naysayers won’t be heard over you.
